Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
We provide monthly workshops on topics and issues related to living with an autistic loved one, events for the inclusion of those individuals, and activities and projects to raise awareness in our society. We provide information such as rights, and services that can help children’s sensory issues, eating problems, seizures, delays, potty training, and much more. Today many children are doing better thanks to the hard work we do as volunteers. We spend our own time helping the autism community. AMoH provides these services to thousands of mothers just like me. We are AMoH and this is not just one mom’s story. This is our story. Our mission is important, and we need your help.

Our story:

The Autism Moms Of Houston organization (AMoH) started as a Facebook support group 4 years ago. It was co-founded by two autism moms who found support in each other and decided to create that same support for other families. The private group grew fast and in four years it has acquired almost 6000 members. Because of the growing number of children diagnosed with autism, it became necessary to establish a non-profit organization to provide more assistance to our community. Today, AMoH is one of the most active groups in Houston and surrounding areas with a great exchange of information, resources, and support for families with individuals on the spectrum.

Our mission:

AMoH is a nonprofit created to empower, educate, advocate for, and celebrate inclusion for everyone on the autism spectrum.

How do we help our community :

We provide information such as rights, and services that can help children’s sensory issues, eating problems, seizures, delays, potty training, and much more.
