Experience the world and Dallas premiere of Ballet North Texas's Don Quixote, a romantic ballet extravaganza that brings to life the beloved story of Don Quixote, based on the iconic “Don Quixote de la Mancha” by Miguel de Cervantes. Under the visionary direction of Artistic Director Nicolina Lawson, this production features dynamic choreography, colorful characters, and a captivating narrative that transports audiences on a sunny romp through the Spanish countryside. Follow the adventures of the chivalrous Don Quixote and his loyal squire Sancho Panza, and the blossoming romance between Kitri and the handsome Basilio.
This dazzling production features all-new costumes and sets designed by talented local artists, bringing a fresh and vibrant perspective to this timeless classic. With its intricate choreography, stunning visuals, and enchanting music, Don Quixote promises to be an extraordinary theatrical experience.
Join us at the Moody Performance Hall in Dallas, TX for a special Sensory Friendly Performance on April 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, designed to be inclusive and ensuring everyone can enjoy the magic of Don Quixote.
The ballet runs approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.
