Professionals at The Carruth Center specialize in developmental assessment and therapeutic services for children. But we endeavor – first and foremost – to form connections that enhance the lives of our client families. We listen. We discuss. We learn.
Ultimately, we understand that each child is amazingly unique and that each family requires a distinct spirit of support. Years of experience have taught professionals at The Carruth Center that when our children succeed, families grow stronger.
-The Carruth Center provides child-centered, developmentally appropriate and impactful therapy services to children and their families through collaboration, meaningful connections and quality interventions. We offer individual and group speech therapy and play therapy, individual occupational, physical and music therapy, Social Learning (Social Thinking) classes, summer day camps for handwriting, social skills and childhood apraxia of speech, and sleep away camps for children ages 8 - 16. We are a fee for service facility on the grounds of the Parish School. We see children who attend the Parish School, but many of our clients are from the community at large. We have specialized training in Floortime and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Our mission is to advance communication, independence and emotional well-being through individualized, collaborative and child-centered therapy practices.
