Storytime (Free)

Join us for Storytime at the shelter! Guests of all ages are invited to read aloud to our animals in a calm, welcoming environment. This free program accepts walk-ins and helps provide enrichment and comfort to our shelter pets. Shelter Tours

Starting at $50 per hour, Shelter Tours offer a guided look into our animal rooms while learning about our shelter’s mission and services. Participants can meet and pet select friendly animals, enjoy a private animal meet-and-greet, and may extend time to include multiple meet-and-greets or an animal toy-making activity (materials provided). Field Trips

Field trips start at $50 per hour and are tailored to your group’s time and age range. Activities may include animal storytime, treat or toy making, multiple animal meet-and-greets, and a coloring activity. A fun, educational way for students to learn about animal care and shelters. Roadshows

Roadshows are $100 per visit and bring the shelter experience directly to you! Each 1-hour visit includes a custom presentation designed for your class, an animal ambassador visit with petting, and/or a storytime session, or an animal toy making activity. Classes of 30 or fewer receive a complimentary book per student. Larger groups enjoy quiz-style games and prizes. Scouts Program

We help scout groups earn animal- and nonprofit-related badges through age-appropriate activities and education. Donation drives are encouraged, or groups may opt for a $50 program fee. Activities are customized to badge requirements and group needs. Camps (K–12)

Our themed camps range from $75 day camps to $350 week-long camps, designed by age group. Activities include daily animal interaction and handling, dog walking, arts and crafts, games, storytime, special guests, and animal care lessons. Snacks are provided; lunch will ned to be brought from home, or are welcomed to do food deliveries. CAP Kids Club

CAP Kids Club is $150 per year and meets every other month. Members, aged 6-12, enjoy discounts, guest privileges, and 2-hour themed sessions featuring crafts, service projects, scavenger hunts, games, food projects, dog walking, and multiple animal interactions. Birthday Parties

Birthday parties are $300 for up to 20 children (additional guests $10 each). The package includes a 2-hour Education Center reservation, setup and cleanup, a guided shelter tour, coloring or painting activity, a private animal meet-and-greet and goodie bags for each child participant. Parties for ages 13+ also enjoy animal toy making and supervised dog walking. Adult participants must be present during the small group dog walking.
