Discover the magic of the dulcimer with musicians Tina and Dave Davies of the Dulcimer Doin’s! Learn the basics of how to play this stringed instrument from the zither family and why it was enjoyed by 19th century Texas settlers. Jones Park will have five dulcimers available for use. Participants who own a dulcimer are encouraged to bring theirs. Ages 12 and up. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Reservations required beginning Wednesday, May 1.
