Houston Mini Maker Faire

The Children's Museum of Houston will be at the Houston Mini Maker Faire! This event is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement.

Thie faire will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ALL-DAY ACTIVITIES:
- Science Workshop: Students from Edison Middle School will be showcasing and selling projects created during their after school program.
- LED Billboard - Chevron Maker Annex/Maker Corps: Visitors will help Maker Corps members create LED pixel circuits and assemble a large matrix of LED into a LED Billboard.
- Paper Rockets: Launch your custom-designed paper rocket on one of four launch pads.
- Balloon Cars: Invent your own car and put it to the test on our race track. *This activity will also be a way for Girl Scouts to earn their Inventors Badge.
- Programming with OzoBot: Program your robot to complete a maze/puzzle.
- DIY Pinball: Design your own pinball game and challenge an opponent for the highest score.
