MATCH - Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston

The MATCH (formerly the Independent Arts Collaborative / lAC) is a new community arts complex that provides a centralized home base in Midtown for a broad spectrum of Houston’s leading and emerging arts and cultural organizations. The facility offers a combination of visual and performance spaces, rehearsal and classroom areas, and offices in a structure of approximately 59,000 square feet. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $25 million. The MATCH will be self-sustaining from a variety of rental and other earned income streams. The MATCH is located at 3400 Main Street, across the street from the Ensemble/HCC Metro Rail Station and halfway between Houston’s Theater District and the Museum District.
