Mindful Origami for Families

Kids and adults are welcome as we learn to create colorful spinning tops out of three sheets of origami paper. As you fold, you will learn calming mindful breathing techniques to prepare you and your children for life’s challenges. Learn and play with origami as a family and be inspired to be creative this summer.

$40 ($35 members) per adult

Up to two children ages 5+ permitted with each adult

Rie Kojima Angeli

Rie Kojima Angeli, LPC-Intern at the Center for Creative Resources, grew up in Japan where she learned and played with origami. As a therapist, she introduced origami to her clients in art therapy and was impressed by how it seemed to bring them into a state of mindfulness. Rie is passionate about integrating origami into the healing process.
