Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.
We’re seeking passionate, committed performers aged 8-19 to join this youth-led adventure. Whether you’re an experienced performer or new to the stage, this is your chance to be part of a bold and exciting show.

At NYT, auditions are an open casting call; nothing is precast. Any student, 8-19 yrs. old (must be the specified age by audition date), is eligible to audition. Students have “1 minute to shine.” We recommend preparing a 1-minute song highlighting your vocals and acting through song. However, students may choose to do a monologue or dance if they prefer
