The Practical Teacher

This class is designed for a student who needs a one on one class to improve reading. Students will learn to choose a "just right book". Students will be taught reading comprehension strategies good readers use. They will respond to the positive motivation in the class to share what they are reading. Each week students try out new skills such as making predictions, improving vocabulary and context clues. My aim is to teach the reader to develop their love of reading
