Performed by Houston Ballet in the Wortham Theater Center, this full-length production features gentle adjustments to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment. This magical holiday classic has been thoughtfully adapted to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families, including those with physical and cognitive disabilities.
To ensure a wonderful experience for every guest, this special performance will feature:
Designated Quiet Areas: Spaces away from the main theater for those needing a break.
Engaging Activity Stations: Fun, interactive activities before and during the show.
Supportive Volunteers: Trained volunteers will be readily available throughout the theater, ready to assist and ensure a positive experience for all.
Enhanced Navigation: Extra signs will be included to direct you to the right place, and maps of the theater will be available beforehand to help you navigate.
Social Narratives: Prepare for the experience with our social narratives, which will be available soon in both digital and video versions.
