STEM Fun with KRB: Balloon-Powered Car

Recommended for children 8 -12 years. Build a balloon-powered car! Volunteers from KBR will demonstrate how to build a balloon powered car out of recycling materials. Children will then work in teams to build their own car. After building, we’ll test our engineering and problem-solving skills with a race.
KBR is a local engineering company in Houston.

Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available 30 minutes before the program begins in the Children’s Department. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly so please plan accordingly.
