Summer Learning Experiences - Do Something!: Community Service Project
Summer Learning Experiences at Holocaust Museum Houston provide a space for young change-makers to engage in the arts, experiential learning, social justice, community service, and advocacy during the summer months. Students will work with local artists and educators to learn, to create, and to inspire the community with their voices and their work.
Houston is our community; therefore, we have a responsibility to maintain it. This program is designed for all middle and high school students who are interested in community service work, or who need community service hours for their transcript. Over the course of this 5-day program, students will participate in various organized service projects around the city of Houston and will receive a certificate for their hours of completion.
Specific information about daily program hours, before and after program care, and cost can be found on the registration pages. A limited number of scholarships are available for 2020 and will be given on first-come-first-served basis.
