Week 2 June 14th to June 18th
Superheroes Adventure
Age 4, M/W 9AM – Noon
Superheroes have captivated the imaginations of children for many years. Young super heroes will decorate their own capes and masks, play familiar games to discover interesting facts about well-known super heroes and make special “super power” snacks.

Mermaids and Pirates
Ages 4, T/TH 9AM – Noon
Aargh!!! Focusing on swashbucklingand “mermaizing” imaginative play, children make pirate hats, mermaid projects and imagine lives as mermaids and pirates through songs, fingerplays and maybe, even delight in a visit from a pirate

Dragons, Knights and Wizards
Ages 5&6, M-F 9AM – Noon
With a focus on “medieval madness”, children explore some of the highlights of the medieval and renaissance era through castle building out of recycled materials, catapult construction, hats for wizards, dragon or knights and other projects and processes emphasizing the allure of medieval child-friendly fantasy.

Trash to Towers
Ages 5&6, M-F 1PM – 4PM
Build beyond the imagination, while discovering the basics of construction wizardry such as engineering, construction design, teamwork and building structures to test the strength and practicality of architect’s designs with new and recycled materials. Young architects can create buildings from milk cartons, water towers from food storage containers or bridges from cereal boxes and used plastic bags to create cities, habitats on another planet or whatever else their imagination presents.
