WHAT'S HAPPENING
Arabic Calligraphy: Join the Islamic Arts Society for a captivating display of Islamic calligraphy, where you can explore the beauty and intricate techniques of this timeless art form!
When: From 10 am to noon in Kid's Hall
Storytimes and Crafts: Story about a girl from Egypt adjusting to life in the US by telling her classmates about her Arabic quilt. Kids will make their own paper quilt with Arabic words (and translations)!
When: At 10 am, 1 and 3 pm in Kaleidoscope
Storytimes: Join Mona Mortazavi with a special story time as she reads her book titled, A Perfect Day in Lebanon.
When: At 11 am in the Parent Resource Library
Henna Artists: Celebrate Arab American Heritage Month with the Islamic Arts Society as two talented henna artists create beautiful, intricate designs while sharing the cultural significance of this timeless art form!
When: From noon to 2 pm in Kids' Hall
Dabke Performance by Folkoholic Dance Theater: Join us for a fun-filled celebration of Arab American Heritage Month with an exciting traditional dance performance that will dazzle and delight kids of all ages! Get ready to move, groove, and learn about the vibrant culture of Arab Americans through lively music and colorful dance routines.
