Thanks to TXU Energy, the Houston Zoo is once again staying open late until 8:30 p.m., so you can enjoy the animals in the cooler evening weather. Join us for Cool Nights every Friday evening from June 26 through August 21. From 5 to 8 p.m. guests can enjoy added music and kid-friendly activities that are sure to entertain kids and adults alike! All activities are included in Zoo admission.August 14: Under the SeaMake a splash at the Zoo and learn all about our marine animals and how you can keep them and their ocean homes healthy. Plus, this night only, the Kathrine McGovern Water Play Park will stay open late! After enjoying Cool Nights, head across the street to Miller Outdoor Theatre and join the Asia Society Texas Center for musical performances by Daniel Ho & Taiwu Children’s Ancients Ballads Troupe.
