Forestfest | Kids Out and About Houston

Forestfest

Nature lovers of all ages are invited to Jones Park for a day of discovery, celebrating one of our most important natural resources - trees! Come learn about the importance of our forests and how you can help conserve such a vital, but endangered, ecosystem at our inaugural Forest Fest. Visitors can enjoy hikes, wildlife presentations, and educational exhibits. Native plants and concession sales will be available from Jesse Jones Park Volunteers. Great for families of all ages, school groups, and Scouts. No reservations required.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

If your Scout troop or organization would like to help us plant trees in the park during the event, please contact JesseJonesPark@pct3.hctx.net.
