In these beautiful, poetic odes to the life-giving force of water and invigorating power of fire, award-winning children’s book author Jorge Argueta describes the life cycle of water and fire. With stunningly beautiful illustrations by Felipe Ugalde Alcántara that depict the natural world, these poems about the importance of water and fire reflect Argueta’s indigenous roots and his appreciation for nature.
