Juneteenth Festivities
Texas City hosts a slate of events to celebrate Juneteenth and the African American heritage of the community. Annually, the City hosts a Gospel Fest, Paint & Sip, Golf Tournament, Poetry Slam and Parade/Charles Brown Juneteenth Celebration. Check out all of our Juneteenth events and celebrate with us! Tickets for the Juneteenth Paint & Sip and Poetry Slam will go on sale on Friday, May 22nd.

Parade Details
The Juneteenth Parade will line up at Texas City High School stadium at 1431 Ninth Ave North at 4 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the parade will start and continue along 9th Ave. and turn right onto Bay Street. It will end at Bay Street Park, where the Juneteenth Family Day in the Park will start at 6 p.m.
