Santa Fe Heritage Festival
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/12/2016
anta Fe's “First Annual Heritage Festival” took place in 1974 and was sponsored by the Santa Fe Jaycees. The original festival consisted of three days of fun, games and goodwill. Throughout the years different organizations in town such as the Santa Fe Area Historical Foundation, the Santa Fe Senior Citizens Council, H.I.S. Ministries, the Santa Fe Lions Club, the Friends of the Mae S. Bruce Library and the Santa Fe Good News have volunteered countless hours of work and dedication to insure the continued success of the Heritage Festival. This year, the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is looking forward to working with these groups and helping the Heritage Festival grow into the event that it once was ~ a week-end of family fun and good will.
As in years past, the days activities will include a Historical Display, craft & vendors booths, the health & safety fair and kids activities. This year, the Chamber will add an Old Smokey BBQ Cook-Off; a Chili Cook-Off; a car, bike & tractor show; and other great kids activities.
