The Wonderful Worm

Earthworms play a vital role in the planet’s ecosystem. Join Master Gardener Debbie Banfield of the Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center as she leads a nature walk through Dennis Johnston Park and learn the importance of the wonderful wiggling worm.

Children ages 7 to 14 are welcome to participate. A parent or guardian must accompany children for the duration of the event. Participants are encouraged to dress for warm weather, wear closed-toe shoes, bring water and insect repellent. Registration is required for all programs and space is limited.
