The Annual Mushroom Festival

Join us for the Texas Mushroom Festival in Downtown Madisonville, TX on Saturday, October 19th, 2024! This exciting event, typically attracting around 10,000 spectators, is back and better than ever with a few new exciting additions. Located conveniently halfway between Houston and Dallas, just off Interstate 45, Madisonville is a vibrant and ever-growing community, perfect for a day of fun and festivities.

Highlights of the Texas Mushroom Festival:
~ Taste of Texas Tent: Enjoy beer and wine tastings and live
entertainment.
~ Auto Showcase: Featuring a variety of awards across different
categories.
~ 150+ Vendors on the Square: Explore a wide array of
products and services from local and afar vendors.
~ Portabella Park: A kids' zone packed with fun activities,
including a petting zoo.
~ Silent Auction: Bid on items generously donated by local
businesses.
~ Photo Contest: Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes in our
amateur photography competition.
~ Quilt Show: Quilts showcased by a local quilting club. There is always a quilt raffle.
~ Shiitake 5k Run: Participate in our 5k run or the kids' 1-mile
run, both offering prizes.
~ Monterey Mushroom Inc.: Savor their famous mushroom
tacos and join the mushroom picking contest.
~ Mushroom Market: This features a few “Mushroom Vendors”
from all over Texas bringing their mushroom products.
