Big Bugs at the Houston Zoo

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 09/03/2018
All summer long, you can see bugs unlike ever before – up to 60 times larger than their normal size! From the 7-foot ladybug to the 33-foot tarantula, you’ll see these bugs in great detail as each is made to look exactly like its smaller counterpart. As you meet our Big Bugs, you’ll also learn the important role each bug plays in nature and how we can all help to protect each species. From pest control and food maker to crop protector and forest recycler, we could not live without these bugs.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
