Horseback Riding Camps at Sienna Stables

As safety is paramount to Sienna Stables, we have taken extra precautions that include but are not limited to sanitizing, practicing social distancing, and a reduction in the number of riders per camp.

In the past, Sienna Stables provided all equipment needed, including helmets.

Sanitizing and sharing items that touch the face of campers would be prohibitive. We now require that all campers provide their own helmets. Campers need either a multi-sport, bike, or equestrian helmet prior to arriving at camp.

As an added precaution, we require all campers to bring their own sack lunch using only disposable items. Reusable items, such as Tupperware, require additional Mhandling and in our effort to maintain a safe and sanitized environment, we are keeping items that are shared or touched by others to a bare minimum. We will provide campers with disposable cups for water breaks throughout the day.

To ensure social distancing is maintained, we ask that upon arrival you remain in your car with your camper. A Sienna Stables staff member will meet you in the parking lot. We will take the temperature of every camper prior to escorting them to Camp Central. We will collect a signed (by parent or guardian) Self Screen confirmation at the start of each day camp. This confirms that the camper has not shown any symptoms of COVID-19.

Camp Central is our main meeting area for the duration of the camp. Camp Central is several, open air tents put together where tables and chairs are set up to ensure social distancing between campers is observed. Each camper will be assigned a seat for the duration of camp. We limit camps to a maximum of 21-campers.

We realize that some of these requirements may be cumbersome, and we apologize for any inconvenience. By using these extra safety measures, we are able to conduct fun, informative and safe camps that your riders will remember for a lifetime!

Camps are designed for first-time, intermediate, and advanced riders.

Students will be placed in groups based on riding ability and age.

Camp activities include learning basic riding skills; Western, English, and Dressage riding techniques; horse management; horse safety; horse breeds, colors & markings; horseback games and more.

Here is what your rider(s) will need:

  • Campers should wear jeans, shirt, and heeled shoes or boots.
  • NO TENNIS SHOES.
  • Each rider needs to bring a helmet, multi-sport, bike, or equestrian, and be sure to mark the helmet clearly with your rider(s) name.
  • Campers need to bring a sack lunch using only disposable items.
  • No reusable drink or food containers.
  • Every camper must have a riding release signed by parent or guardian prior to the first day of camp. Click here for riding release.

A Sienna Stables staff member will meet you in the parking lot upon arrival. Please, stay in your car with your camper.  We will take the temperature of every camper prior to escorting them to Camp Central. We will collect a signed (by parent or guardian) Self Screen confirmation at the start of camp each day. This confirms that the camper has not shown any symptoms of COVID-19.

A parent or guardian may choose to either pick up their camper(s), or let them remain and trust that we will take appropriate safeguards if informed by Sienna Stables that a child at camp has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Even if you choose to remove your camper early, please note that there are no refunds.

If a camper displays symptoms during camp, we will immediately separate the camper from the rest of the group and notify the parent or guardian to pick up the camper immediately. We will notify the parents of campers immediately as well.

Be aware of those at greater risk of COVID-19. There are enhanced risks of campers being in direct contact with anyone age 65 or older for 14-days AFTER the end of camp.

Please note: we are unable to accommodate campers with special needs and there are no refunds.

Your kids will be talking about Sienna Stables Camps all year and will bring home a lifetime of memories.
