Spotlight on Species: Madagascar at the Houston Zoo
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 07/08/2018
Meet the magnificent species of Madagascar and learn how to save them at this Spotlight on Species! Find out about our fossa (pronounced "foosa" just like in the movie) and discover how lemurs leap at the sifaka and ring-tailed lemur habitats. Don't miss the hiss of the Madagascar hissing cockroaches!
Get interactive with activities that show why each species is important to Madagascar's ecosystem and what we can be doing to save them in the wild. Guests can stop by our table near the ring-tailed lemur habitat and shop for animal paintings, pint glasses, magnets and more (while supplies last!) 100 percent of all proceeds will be donated to GERP, the charitable organization helping to save endangered animals in Madagascar.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
