In collaboration with the City of Alvin Parks and Recreation Department and the Texas Music Gathering Association, presents a free and family-friendly music event. Music is a place to come together for both those who love to perform and those who enjoy listening. The goal of the Alvin Music Gathering is bringing local professional and amateur performers together with their local community through an open mic platform.
All genres and musical acts are welcome. No explicit lyrics, objectionable conduct, or attire (as determined by the host). Because this is a family-friendly event, it is asked that if you have any questions about your performance, please feel free to reach out to us.
Performers must play a musical instrument or have at least one live musician accompanying them. Backing tracks can be played as long as the performing act has at least one live musician. Multi-performer acts are welcome. No overlapping performers, one time slot per performer(s). If you require any special accommodations, please contact the Texas Music Gathering Association as soon as possible. Public parking is available at National Oak Park and performers needing to offload equipment will have an unloading/loading location nearest the stage.
